Send Text Messages

You can use the system to send out text messages straight to your member's mobile phones.

Before you do this, there are a couple of things you need to do/know about.

Phone Number Format

Your member's mobile phone numbers need to be in the international format. So the UK phone number 0789123456 would be entered as 44789123456.

Basically, you replace the first 0 with a 44 for UK mobile phone numbers.

SMS Text Account

You need to register for an account with our text messaging service provider. Then once that's done, you need to log in with them and find and copy your API key on the "All Settings" page, then enter your API key on your "Setup > Club Details" page.

Adding Credits

Once the above points are complete, you need to log in to your account at the text messaging provider and add some credits to your account. Currently, credits cost 4.9p each and you can buy in bulk to get cheaper rates.
